Army of Thieves review: This heist movie adds nothing to Army of the Dead

Zack Snyder’s stylish zombie movie Army of the Dead is a fun time with one especially fun character, German safecracker Ludwig Dieter, played by Matthias Schweighöfer. Now Schweighöfer directs Dieter’s origin story Army of Thieves, a six-years-earlier prequel and franchise launcher that adds no useful or interesting information and isn’t even a great heist movie.
