Amnesty International, Shehu Sani, Others Demand Arrest, Probe Of Policemen Who Brutalised NLC President, Joe Ajaero

The Amnesty International, a former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani and a human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, have demanded thorough investigation and arrest of police officers who arrested and brutalised the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero, in Owerri, Imo State capital on Wednesday. Outrages have continued to trail Ajaero's arrest and barbaric brutalisation by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
