While today’s actors celebrate short-term successes, Big B delivered four commercial successes in a row in October 1978. The angry young man of the Hindi film industry won several awards for his path-breaking performances. But apart from his professional achievements, the first thing that everyone notices is the luxurious and comfy home that Big B lives in with his family that includes his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan. From Jalsa to Pratiksha, Big B has an array of expensive houses in Mumbai and recently, he added another property to his list. The actor has reportedly bought a duplex apartment in Mumbai that is worth Rs 31 crore. The duplex apartment is spread over 5,184 sq ft in an under-construction project Atlantis in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb. As per a report in The Economic Times, Big B has bought this apartment on the 27th and 28th floor. The property will also provide him access to six mechanised car parks. The deal was finalised in December 2020 and was concluded in April. Other Bollywood personalities including Sunny Leone and director Aanand L. Rai have also bought apartments in the same project. On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan, will be soon seen in Emraan Hashmi's 'Chehre'. Earlier it was slated to release in 2020 but the release date was pushed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As of now, the release date hasn't been picked yet. The megastar also has 'Jhund' and 'Brahmastra' in his kitty.
