Amherst Farmers’ Market opens Saturday on Town Common

AMHERST — Amherst’s Town Common will have vendors selling locally grown produce, cheese, cut flowers, herbs and prepared foods beginning Saturday.
Commencing its 50th season, the Amherst Farmers’ Market will run Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Nov. 20.
Market manager David Machowski said the market will be held every week, rain or shine, and though it is more work to set up on the common, the market has a more agrarian feel by doing so.
