Akpabio, NDDC, ex-militants plan faster Niger Delta development

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Col. Milland Dikio (retd.), and the Interim Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Effiong Akwa, on Friday met with ex-militant leaders and Niger Delta chiefs to brainstorm on how to fast-track the development of the region.
The meeting, which held behind closed doors, took place at the palace of the king of Okichirin in Okrika, His Royal Majesty Ateke Tom, who assembled first-class chiefs and ex-militant leaders for the deliberations.
