NEW BEDFORD — A local actor left it all behind in New Bedford to follow his acting dreams in New Orleans, and on Sunday he got his first win with an appearance on “NCIS: New Orleans.”
“Definitely a cool feeling,” Earl Lee White, 32, said about his Sunday night appearance. The New Bedford native said it has been non-stop on his social media since the scene aired on CBS.
White is billed as a Street Poet in the 10th episode of season seven in the spin-off drama around military criminal cases in The Big Easy — a role White says wasn’t too far off from himself. “I used to do music and poetry and stuff like that, and I kind of know how that is,” he said. “I just wouldn’t wear those loud of colors.”
