Accused Benue Assembly Deputy Speaker Says Alleged Assassination Attempt On Federal Lawmaker, Agbese Is Blackmail, Seeks Police Probe

    The Deputy Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs. Lami Ogenyi has called on the office of the Inspector General of Police to investigate the alleged assassination attempt on a House of Representatives member for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Mr Phillip Agbese.   This was stated in a press statement issued by Agbaji Samuel Atsonwu, her press secretary on Friday.
