Abiodun awards Math champion N5m, gifts house to LASU best graduate

Dapo Abiodun, Ogun state governor, has recognised the academic success of Oladimeji Shotunde, a graduate of the Lagos State University (LASU), and Faith Odunsi, Nigerian Mathematics champion.

honoured by Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state, when he broke a
37-year record at LASU by graduating with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.86.
On the other hand, Odunsi, who hails from Ijebu in Ogun state, won the Global Open Mathematics Tournament (GOT) for 2021 after competing against participants from across the world, taking home the $1,000 prize money.
