Mifflin and Juniata counties each reported single-digit numbers of new COVID-19 cases Friday, according to data released by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Mifflin County had eight new cases for a total of 4,858 so far. No new deaths were reported, leaving that total at 175. There have been 8,662 people fully vaccinated and 4,218 partially vaccinated in Mifflin County.
People who are fully vaccinated have received both required doses of a two-dose vaccine or a single-dose vaccine. Those who are partially vaccinated have only received the first dose of a two-dose vaccine.
Juniata County reported six new cases and no deaths for totals of 1,962 cases and 82 deaths. A total of 3,845 people have been fully vaccinated in the county and 2,119 have been partially vaccinated.
