After being arrested, charged, and arraigned for breaking curfew, 75-year-old Conrad Williams Young Daniel was lucky to leave the courtroom with simply a warning. He was charged with breach of curfew after being found on his way home after 8:00 p.m. one night. For this charge, the fisherman appeared before Magistrate Stephanie Gillett where he pleaded guilty. He explained that he had just visited his daughter near Wesley College in Belize City and was making his way to his home on Waight Street and had not noticed the time. He says that he did not make it home until a few minutes after 8:00 p.m. before he was met by the police.
