61-year-old man dies in trailer home fire Sunday

A 61-year-old man died Sunday in a fire in Dover, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.
Assistant State Fire Marshal Michael Chionchio said the fire occurred shortly after 4 p.m. at a trailer home in the first block of 10th St. near Pickering Beach Road.
When Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company arrived, flames engulfed the trailer, Chionchio said. The man, who lived at the home, was pronounced dead at the scene, Chionchio said.
A 67-year-old woman was taken to Bayhealth Hospital for smoke inhalation, Chionchio said. He said she was in "stable condition."
