Five people became U.S. citizens while at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.A naturalization ceremony was hosted in the Winner’s Circle by U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Kentucky Benjamin Beaton He administered the Oath of Allegiance to five new citizens representing five different countries. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services did not say which countries."They’re clearly all winners today. Congratulations and welcome!" the USCIS tweeted.The Kentucky Derby is in its 147th year. The race happens at 6:57 p.m.
