The Lions made an early splash in free agency, but things have slowed in Detroit, while business has picked up around the league.
Detroit and Romeo Okwara have reportedly agreed to a three-year, $39 million deal to keep the defensive end in town. Okwara was the team’s best defender last season and one of the top pass rushers on the free-agent market. It’s worth noting that noon Monday marked the opening of the two-day negotiating window, with players unable to sign until 4 p.m. Wednesday officially.
