A tradition-rich powerhouse tucked away in western Massachusetts, Deerfield Academy is near the top of the list of the sport’s more renowned prep lacrosse factories, thanks to a knack for churning out college stars and winning ways under legendary head coach Chip Davis.
Postgraduates like Billy Bitter and Rob Pannell, to name a few, have seen their decisions to PG at Deerfield eventually pay dividends. While it’s a trend that has helped raise the profile of New England West I lacrosse, spring success is unobtainable without a culture that’s built on four-year players.
