One of the major issues to plague the Miami Dolphins (and Tua Tagovailoa) down the stretch of the 2021 season was the play of their receiving corps. Some of their struggles were the product of injuries. Preston Williams missed the entire second half of the season and both Jakeem Grant and Devante Parker missed two games each down the stretch. Injuries can happen to any team or position group, but it should be up to Chris Grier to make sure this group has enough depth to stay afloat. If you're depending on these top three receivers to each play sixteen games, you will most likely be disappointed. Many people are turning their attention to the draft (ok, I'm guilty too), but a solid FA acquisition can be the safer and more immediately impactful move. Brian Flores was a part of the Patriots organization from 2004-2019, so he saw first hand how impactful the addition of a veteran WR can be (Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Brandin Cooks, Brandon LaFell).
