Schoolchildren have raised more than £6,000 for a children s hospice.
Braving the cold and damp conditions, pupils at Edge Grove Preparatory School in Aldenham took part in a sponsored welly walk.
Those in pre-school took on a 2km walk around Aldenham, while year 1 and 2 children went on a more challenging 4km walk around the school s grounds.
The wintry walks raised thousands of pounds for Noah s Ark Children s Hospice, based in Barnet,
The hospice provide clinical, emotional and practical support to families across north and London and Hertsmere.
