A YORK firm specialising in mobile connectivity has opened an office in the Brazil as it looks to repeat the success it enjoyed during the FIFA Wold Cup at next year's Olympics.
Clifton Park-based Cellhire has so far invested around £250,000 in its South American venture with the opening of a new office in Sao Paulo.
Manned by two people, the office has been created to capitalise on Cellhire's expanding Brazilian market, as well as serve the firm's global customer base during the 2016 Olympics Games, due to get staged in Brazil.
Cellhire bosses say they are looking to use the Olympics as a "springboard" to further establish the new office, and a gain a strong domestic foothold for the business after the event.
