A YORK firm specialising in mobile connectivity has opened an office in the Brazil as it looks to repeat the success it enjoyed during the FIFA Wold Cup at next year s Olympics.
Clifton Park-based Cellhire has so far invested around £250,000 in its South American venture with the opening of a new office in Sao Paulo. Manned by two people, the office has been created to capitalise on Cellhire s expanding Brazilian market, as well as serve the firm s global customer base during the 2016 Olympics Games, due to get staged in Brazil. Cellhire bosses say they are looking to use the Olympics as a springboard to further establish the new office, and a gain a strong domestic foothold for the business after the event.
