“The Simpsons” is the best TV sitcom of all time, according to Rolling Stone.
The magazine published a new list of the 100 best sitcoms in television history on Tuesday, including “Cheers,” “Seinfeld,” “I Love Lucy,” “All in the Family,” “M*A*S*H” and “The Honeymooners.” Rolling Stone said it defined sitcoms as comedy shows with a consistent group of characters and settings (so cartoons are OK, but no sketch comedies), and ranked them based on how much they made us laugh (sorry, dramedies) and how much they influenced other TV shows.
