The town of Arboga was settled in 1912 by Swedish Farmers, It means "" BEND IN THE RIVER "" The Community Center was built in 1955 by the community for a farm center. . The Arboga Community Center is used by Local Youth Clubs such as 4H, Scouts & Little League for meetings & Fundraisers. Arboga School uses the building for events too. It has a full working kitchen with 2 ovens, Refrigerator, microwave, 2 large sinks and hot water heater!.. It also has Men's & Women's bathrooms. 2014 We installed a new HEATER. now we have to work on Air Conditioning! . The Center Rents out for Weddings, Showers Birthday Parties. . We have an BEEF IN A BARREL Fundraiser the first SATURDAY of every OCTOBER. The money raised pays for Insurance, Propane & up keep on the Building.. Donations are greatly Appreciated all year long.
