Accused is told in a format where each episode opens in a courtroom on the accused without knowing their crime or how they ended up on trial. The drama is told from the defendant’s point of view.
The U.S. series, to be co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment, will premiere in the 2022-23 season.

Fox Adds New Series Accused to Schedule
FOX has given a straight to series order to the drama ACCUSED, from executive producers Howard Gordon (24, Homeland), Alex Gansa (24, Homeland) and David Shore (The Good Doctor, House).  The program, to be co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment, will premiere in the 2022-23 season as part of FOX’s year-round programming strategy.
Based on the BBC’s BAFTA-winning crime anthology, where each episode opens in a courtroom on the accused without knowing their crime or how they ended up on trial, the drama is told from the defendant’s point of view.  In ACCUSED, viewers discover how an ordinary person got caught up in an extraordinary situation, ultimately revealing how one wrong turn leads to another, until it’s too late to turn back. ....

Miranda Cosgrove celebrated her birthday on the
iCarly set on Friday with a premiere date for the revival: The series will debut Thursday, June 17 on Paramount+, a note inside the birthday cake reveals.
Picking up nearly 10 years after the original Nickelodeon show ended, the 13-episode season “finds Carly Shay, the original influencer, and her friends navigating work, love and family in their twenties,” per the official synopsis.

Fox has ordered the anthology series “Accused” from the minds behind “House” and “24,” the network said Friday.
Though the broadcast network has picked up the drama from executive producers Howard Gordon (“24,” “Homeland”), Alex Gansa (“24,” “Homeland”) and David Shore (“The Good Doctor,” “House”) just ahead of its upfront presentation next week, it is slated for the 2022-23 season – not this coming broadcast season.

By 2010, industry insiders and viewers alike were all referring to television’s new “Golden Age.” Talent from feature films actors, screenwriters and directors were joining projects for the small screen, attracted by the opportunity to explore complex, layered characters neither wholly good nor completely evil in 10 or 12 hours rather than 90 minutes or two hours. Following these TV series became akin to reading chapters in a novel, with plotlines and character development carrying over from one episo ....
