Tony s Pizza Events Center will get a new portable court after approval Monday by the Salina City Commission. The court will replace the main portable basketball and volleyball court that was purchased in 1991 that was designed to be taken up and down two or three times a year but TPEC has seen years where the floor was taken up an placed down as many as 15 times. The new floor will come from Connor Sports Flooring and will cost just under $110,000. There was a lower bid from Horner Sports Flooring for a used court but it was only $2,319 less than the Connor court. ....
