Holyoke Irish flag raising kicks off the month of St. Patrick

Members of the St. Patrick s Parade Committee, the Grand Marshal and colleens gathered to raise the Irish Flag at the JFK Memorial on Appleton Street Saturday.

A small crowd gathered on the grounds of the JFK Memorial on Appleton Street in Holyoke Saturday to raise the Irish flag, the ceremonial beginning of the Month of St. Patrick in Holyoke.
The Grand Marshal of 2020, 2021 and 2022 Holyoke St. Patrick’s Parade, John Driscoll, Colleens Patricia Haradon and Haley Dusseault, along with Parade President Marc Joyce, the St. Patrick’s Committee and members of American Legion Post #325 all braved biting cold to participate. ....
