Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced the promotion of Maryanne O’Sullivan from group sales manager to head of agency sales for Sydney.
O’Sullivan joined SCA almost five years ago and now boasts 13 years’ experience in media sales leadership across free-to-air and subscription TV, radio, podcasting and digital media.
She will now be responsible for leading the audio agenda with SCA’s Sydney agency partners, delivering on the company’s digital audio growth strategy, and supporting the agency team to provide insight-led solutions for advertisers.
Unwin was full of praise for the newly elevated leader.
“Maryanne is well respected and regarded in the Sydney agency market and has a proven track record of delivering results for our advertiser and agency partners,” she said. “She is an exceptional leader, and I am excited about what she will bring to this role in a time of rapid and exciting change for SCA, for audio and in our industry.”

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has promoted Maryanne O’Sullivan to head agency sales, Sydney.
O’Sullivan has spent almost five years with the company, as a group sales manager in its agency team, and has over 13 years of media sales leadership experience.
Her new role will see O’Sullivan leading the audio agenda with SCA’s agency partners, oversee SCA’s digital audio growth strategy, and supporting the agency team to provide insight-led solutions for advertisers.
SCA head of agency sales, Amanda Unwin, whose remit previously included the role set to be taken up by O’Sullivan, said: “Maryanne is well respected and regarded in the Sydney agency market and has a proven track record of delivering results for our advertiser and agency partners.

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced two new senior sales appointments within the company’s NSW division.
After spending 16 months as the company’s head of TV sales for Sydney Nick Unger has been promoted to head of sales for regional NSW, effective immediately.
Reporting to SCA’s head of regional sales strategy Joel Feuerherdt, Unger will assume responsibility for SCA’s NSW sales team, overseeing management and driving strategy for SCA’s operations across audio, TV and digital.
Moving forward, Unger’s previous role with SCA will be occupied by Holly Bradley, who has worked in the TV sales team for eight years and recently assumed the position of group sales manager.

SCA has appointed Nick Unger as head of sales – regional NSW, with Holly Bradley replacing him in the role of head of TV sales – Sydney.

SCA today announced two senior sales appointments in Sydney and NSW.
Nick Unger becomes Head of Sales – Regional NSW where he will be responsible for the NSW sales team, overseeing sales management and strategy for SCA’s operations across TV, audio and digital. Unger will report to Head of Regional Sales Strategy, Joel Feuerherdt.
Unger was previously Head of Sales – TV Sydney and stepping into that role will be Holly Bradley. Bradley has worked in the TV sales team for the past eight years at SCA and was most recently Group Sales Manager. Bradley will report to SCA National Head of TV Sales, Otto Ablinger.
