Entrepreneurs Sheila and Maya Dunne of Honeoye Falls have earned a spot on the inaugural Forbes Next 1000 list for establishing Dunne Goodwin and Valet Seller separately founded companies.
At 22 and 20 years old, respectively, the sisters are two of the youngest to be honored on the Forbes magazine list, which recognizes the upstart entrepreneurs reshaping the American dream. This year-round initiative showcases the ambitious sole proprietors, self-funded shops and pre-revenue startups in every region of the country all with under $10 million in revenue or funding and infinite drive and hustle, the article introducing the Next 1000 list states.
Both companies are run by twentysomethings including some of the Dunne sisters longtime friends and some Honeoye Falls-Lima High School graduates.
