A north care worker who failed to seek medical assistance after vulnerable adults in his care fell has been sanctioned by the industry watchdog.
The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) has given Hugh Coleman a 24-month warning and placed a condition on his registration following incidents in Inverness.
Last month at a hearing, it found the care worker’s fitness to practise was impaired while working at Highland Home Carers. ....

All front line care and support staff with social care provider Highland Home Carers (HHC) are to be paid a minimum of Â£10 per hour from next month.
The announcement has been hailed as fantastic news by Scotland s Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills, Jamie Hepburn.
It follows the news that from April, Inverness-based HHC â the biggest employee-owned organisation in Scotland â will also increase its employerâs contribution to the companyâs pension scheme. ....
