WALLACE, Idaho Cyclists will be happy to hear that one of the Inland Northwest’s most scenic mountain bike trails will be reopening on Friday, May 28.
Described as the “Crown Jewel of Rail-to-Trail Conservation in the Country,” the Hiawatha Trail is a 15 mile, all downhill ride that beings in Taft, Montana and ends in Pearson, Idaho.
The trail will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week from May 28 through September 19.
Prices vary, depending on age group and day of the week. For adults ages 13 and up, trail passes cost $15 Monday through Thursday and $30 Friday through Sunday. For kids ages 5-12, trail passes $10 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday. On their website, they said Friday through Sunday rates include both a trail and shuttle pass. ....

SAN ANTONIO – Just in time for spring and summer outings, a variety of new park amenities and trails have opened in the San Antonio area.
That means more time in nature amid a stressful year, plus new and cool features like the Skywalk at Phil Hardberger Park.
The elevated, 1,000-foot-long walkway gently climbs 18-feet off the ground and connects people to the top of the Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge, which was also recently completed. ....
