(Sean P. Means | The Salt Lake Tribune) Traci O Very Covey s Habitat, painted on the Mountainland Design building in South Salt Lake. The first two phases were created during Mural Fest in 2019 and 2020, and O Very Covey is scheduled to add a third panel during Mural Fest 2021, May 4-14.
What’s billed as Utah’s “largest collection of street art” will grow in May, with the addition of 10 artworks in South Salt Lake during the fourth annual Mural Fest.
The Utah Arts Alliance has released the list of artists, and the buildings where they will be adding their painted work from May 4 to 14. The finished works will be celebrated during a “meet & greet” on Saturday, May 15, at 6 p.m. ....

Grandparents turn garden into Christmas grotto for Halesowen boy


A NAN and granddad transformed their back garden into a Christmas wonderland to surprise their only grandson after he was unable to get a place to see Santa.
Hayley Parry, from Halesowen, had given up hope of getting her two-year-old son Harrison to see Santa, after several local grottos she contacted were booked up.
Harrison s grandparents Wayne, 53, and Paula, 51, decided to surprise the tyke last week by transforming their garden in Bewdley into his very own winter paradise, complete with reindeers, a sleigh filled with presents, Christmas tree, giant festive characters and, of course, Santa himself!
They even hid a snow machine in a tree so that little Harrison could experience snow for the first time in his life. ....
