She was collecting gift cards to local restaurants and then giving them away through her Instagram account. Then people started flooding her with donations to buy more gift cards, and people would send me $50.20 dollars, $100. I got $500 from some people. It was crazy. Since then, her idea has turned into a full blown business because of the overwhelming response. Her business is called Shop Local Truth to faith based business, where we help small businesses get the reach, the outreach that they re looking for. Through her business, Dollarhide has set up a relief fund for local restaurants.
