Pawel Saoluk, 37, of Henson Park in Chard, was fined £80 at Yeovil Magistrates Court. He also had to pay £85 in costs and a £34 victim surcharge. He pleaded guilty to the offence. Jordan Paul Barton, 22, of St Johns Road in Yeovil for making eight phone calls to the police on 999, and up to 60 phone calls to the ambulance service on 999. He was verbally abusive to various call handlers on these calls. Barton appeared in Yeovil Magistrates Court last week and was given a community order for the offence. He was also found guilty of using threatening words or behaviour, and fined £120, asked to pay a £95 victim surcharge, and £45 in costs.
