Texas Baptist schools relax COVID protocols May 28, 2021 Share this article Texas Baptist universities recently relaxed their COVID-19 protocols in light of increased availability of vaccine, declining infection rates and in some cases updated recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control. On May 17, Baylor University announced fully vaccinated individuals no longer will be required to wear face coverings indoors or outdoors. Those who have not been vaccinated are still required to wear face coverings when indoors. McLane Stadium at Baylor University (Baylor Photo) Baylor also lifted all capacity limitations for outdoor activities including athletic venues and made face coverings optional outdoors for everyone.

Grand Prairie H.S. 2021 senior accepted to 21 schools, has $80k in scholarship offers By Carolyn Diaz GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - A Grand Prairie ISD senior was accepted into 21 colleges and universities and received over $80,000 in scholarship offers.  Ezekiel Oluwemimo graduated this past weekend from Grand Prairie High School and will be attending the University of Texas at Arlington this fall. Oluwemimo was accepted into Houston Baptist University, University of Houston, Missouri University of Science and Technology, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Austin College, University of Memphis, Valparaiso University, Tarleton State University, Langston University, University of Oklahoma, University of Dayton, University of Texas at Arlington, Oral Roberts University, Texas Tech University, Abilene Christian University, McMurry University, Trine University, Prairie View A&M University, Arkansas Tech University, Dallas Baptist University and Hendrix College.
