Kenosha County Public Heath is reporting 16,057 total positive COVID-19 test results in Kenosha County as of Friday. That’s 11 more than Thursday. There have been 316 COVID-19 deaths in Kenosha County. Kenosha County Public Health is reporting 82,851 negative test results.
Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting a positive rate of 9,567/100,000 people and a 2 percent case fatality rate in Kenosha County as of Friday.
In Kenosha County, 45.94 percent of the population has had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 43.56 percent are fully vaccinated as of Thursday (the last day data was available), reports Kenosha County Public Health.

The creation of a lake management district with taxing authority and a territory limited to properties adjacent to Silver Lake will be the subject of a public meeting at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 29 at the Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club, 27021 85th St.
The meeting is being hosted by a group of residents leading the effort to create the new district. This meeting is geared toward those who don’t already know about the proposed Silver Lake Management District, said Jeffrey Bell, one of the leaders of the effort to create the district.
