When I moved jobs recently, I was excited to reduce this to 75 and have more time with my family. I never imagined how much. Last month I came across a heartbreaking sight: a group of people standing around a young female kangaroo with horrific injuries. She appeared to have been hit by a car and had dragged herself away, only to collapse into our local creek. A police officer had gently lifted her out to the bank where her injuries became apparent.
