The university presented plans for the proposed project to Princeton’s Site Plan Review Advisory Board (SPRAB) on July 14. SPRAB Chair Louisa Clayton, Vice Chair Lisa Levine, Councilman David Cohen, Ingela Kostenbader, and Anne Soos voted “yes” to move the proposed plan forward in the municipal process. Barbara Vadnais was the sole dissenting vote. A new Health Services building would replace McCosh Health Center, which is currently more than 35,000 square feet in size. ....

EDMONTON Alberta added 1,345 cases of COVID-19 and five deaths on Tuesday. The province now has 18,481 cases and 476 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 105 in ICU. Variants of concern, mostly the B.1.1.7 strain first found in the U.K., account for 57 per cent of cases, meaning transmission is much easier and can happen faster than ever before, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said. Dr. Hinshaw also said P.1, the strain first identified in Brazil, is growing in the community in many parts of Alberta. The province s positivity rate decreased slightly on Tuesday to 10.4 per cent. Alberta has reported 173,531 cases and 2,048 deaths since the pandemic began. ....
