Paul Bates appointed executive chef of Hilton London Metropole Hilton London Metropole, the largest Hilton hotel outside of the US, has appointed Paul Bates as its new executive chef.
Bates will oversee the food and beverage operations for the hotel s four restaurants and bars, its in-room dining service, and banqueting across its 35 event spaces and meeting rooms.
He will also lead the change of the hotel s F&B offering, which comes amid a multimillion-pound refurbishment of the hotel that s set to be completed by the summer.
This includes the launch of a new market-style dining outlet within the hotel, which will be designed to reflect the energy and diversity of London s bustling food scene .
