Morrison Hotel located in the quays of Dublin, Ireland, has been acquired by UK private equity firm
Zetland Capital from Russian billionare
Elena Baturina, for a reported price of
€65 million (€460,000 per room). Ms Baturina acquired the 141-room property in 2012 from NAMA, as the first hotel sale of the Irish asset management agency, for €22 million. During her ownership, the hotel was rebranded to a DoubleTree by Hilton and benefitted from a €10 million renovation programme.

The Hilton Hotel Bracknell, which has been in operation for more than 20 years, will cease to trade under the Hilton name as of May 4. A spokesman for Hilton Hotels said: As a result of the upcoming sale of Hilton Bracknell, and in line with our asset light strategy, Hilton has agreed to exit the hotel. Hilton Bracknell will therefore cease to operate under the Hilton brand from 4 May 2021.
