According to the USDA’s FSIS, the health alert affects approximately 43 pounds of not-ready-to-eat, heat-treated, not fully cooked chicken enchilada products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The agency also adds that consumers with allergic reactions to soy should not consume these products. ....
Posted January 6th, 2021 for Hy-Vee January 6, 2021 WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Jan. 6, 2021) Hy-Vee, Inc., based in West Des Moines, Iowa, is voluntarily recalling units of its ready-to-eat chicken enchilada entrée produced on Jan. 3, 2021, because of the possible presence of an undeclared allergen due to an incorrect label that was placed on the bottom of the container.
Only eleven (11) of the chicken enchilada meals have been identified as being sold across Hy-Vee’s eight-state region to date, and no illnesses have been reported in connection with these products.
Out of an abundance of caution, Hy-Vee is recalling the entrée produced on Jan. 3, 2021, from its stores. Impacted units are labeled with UPC Code 075450244267. All affected products have a “Best if Used By” date of Jan. 10, 2021. A photo of the affected product label is attached. No other products are affected by this recall. ....
