Ontario has reported 914 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday, part of an upwards trend from a seven-month low of 699 cases on Tuesday.
The province also reported 19 new deaths.
In total, there have been 534,675 confirmed cases and 8,820 deaths in Ontario. There are 687 people currently in hospital, with 522 in ICU and 357 on a ventilator. ....

The first phase of Ontario’s vaccination rollout is now in full swing.
It means all Ottawa residents born in 1941 or earlier regardless of where they live in the city can now book an appointment through the province’s online booking system.
