Revolver Taco is opening a location in Fort Worth, in the former Taco Diner space at at 156 W. 4th St. It represents a Fort Worth return for the restaurant, which started on West 7th Street in Fort Worth, prior to opening a location in Deep Ellum. Like the Deep Ellum location, the new Fort Worth location will also contain a chef-driven restaurant-within-a restaurant.

Indeed, the Shamrock Shake was first made in 1967 by Connecticut-based McDonald’s owner Hal Rosen, who whipped up the shake to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The food hype led to its debut at select locations across the country in 1970, according to McDonald’s.

UPDATE: The Shamrock Shake returns Feb. 15 to participating McDonald’s. Also on Feb. 15, McDonald’s says consumers can start to search to see what restaurants near them are serving the returning Hi-C Orange Lavaburst on McdFinder.com. The drink is starting to roll out in select locations this month and will be in participating restaurants across the country by June.
After bringing back the heat with Spicy Chicken McNuggets, McDonald s is turning to cold and sweet.
The fast-food giant announced Tuesday that the popular Shamrock Shake will return to participating restaurants nationwide Feb. 15 to mark the first green of spring. It will be joined by the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, which first debuted last February in honor of the shake s 50th anniversary.
