BAAJUR: Jamaat-i-Islami on Monday demanded judicial inquiry into the Raghaghan dam boat drowning incident, which left seven persons dead and eight wounded on Wednesday last. Addressing a news conference here, JI’s Bajaur district chief Sardar Khan, deputy chief Qari Abdul Majeed, former MNA Sahibzada Haroon Rasheed, MPA Sirajuddin Khan and others pointed out that boating continued in the dam despite a ban by the district administration. They questioned as to who had allowed boating in the dam. They said it was the responsibility of the district administration to take serious notice of the unlawful practice. The JI leaders said such a tragic incident could have been prevented had the administration strictly enforced the ban on boating. ....
