According to observations provided by the National Weather Service, 2 inches of rain were recorded by a remote automated weather station in Tumbling Run, Cumberland County. Shippensburg saw the next most, with just under 2 inches recorded by a citizen weather observer. Wormleysburg and Mechanicsburg both saw more than an inch and a half of rain, as did Halifax and Hummelstown in Dauphin County. Harrisburg saw 1.16 inches, according to a citizen observer, while an inch was recorded at Harrisburg International Airport. ....
