Lompoc man sentenced in deadly Harris Grade DUI crash SB Co. DA s Office and last updated 2021-06-28 19:07:03-04 Dozens of family members of a Lompoc man killed in a DUI crash last year were in court Monday for sentencing of the man responsible. The Santa Barbara County District Attorneyâs Office says Isaac DeLuna was given a four-year state prison sentence for the charge of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated following the Aug. 22, 2020 crash. The California Highway Patrol says the now 21-year-old lost control of his car and crossed into oncoming traffic on Harris Grade Road south of Burton Mesa Boulevard., crashing into another vehicle driven by Benjamin Romayor, 68, of Lompoc. ....

(Tribune News Service) Vandenberg Air Force Base has officially confirmed a rocket will launch from the Central Coast military base next week. According to a news release, United Launch Alliance will launch its Delta IV Heavy rocket carrying a National Reconnaissance Office payload on Monday. The rocket which has flown over Central Coast skies three times before, most recently in January 2019 will take off from Space Launch Complex-6 sometime around noon. Our tremendous partnership with United Launch Alliance and the National Reconnaissance Office is driven by our collective dedication to mission success, 30th Space Wing Commander Col. Anthony Mastalir said. Authorities identify driver killed in Harris Grade Road crash near Lompoc KSBY and last updated 2021-02-17 16:21:17-05 Authorities have released the name of the driver killed in a crash last week near Lompoc as Adalberto Zamora, 33, of Lompoc. The crash happened the afternoon of Feb. 11 on Harris Grade Road. The California Highway Patrol says Zamora was heading northbound, north of Rucker Road, when he made an unsafe turning movement, causing the vehicle to go off the road and into an embankment before overturning.
