Pixabay HOUSTON A woman claims she faced unlawful prosecution and was wrongfully banned from Houston toll roads by the Harris County Toll Road Authority. Thien An Vo filed a pro se complaint May 10 in Harris County District Court against Harris County Toll Road Authority and its administrative hearing alleging violation of state laws and state penal code. According to her complaint, Vo was an independent contractor who drove passengers for fares in the City of Houston. She alleges that in 2016 and 2017, the defendants cited and prosecuted her for failure to pay 15 toll passages despite her EZ-Tag account being active with available funds and her credit card filed with the account being active with funds available. ....
