The 71st Annual Hopkinsville Rotary Auction âBuilding the Foundationâ broke the record for the foundation for the most money raised through the auction this year finishing at nearly $400k, blowing away the expectation of this yearâs Auction Chairman Cody Noffsinger.
The auction raised a total of $397,832, making it the most successful event in Rotary history and nearly doubling last yearâs total raised. Of that, 722 items sold for a total of roughly $91,000, while the Hour and Goat clubs cash donations totaled about $278,569.
âWe had an incredibly successful auction,â Noffsinger said in an interview. âWe blew past every financial metric and goal that I set forth. We started this â our best year ever was $350,500.

The Hopkinsville Rotary Club’s 71st Annual Auction raised just under $400,000 during this year’s six day run.
According to the final totals released by the club Rotarians sold 722 items to raise $90,816 during the auction. In addition the Diner and Sweet Shop raised $28,447 and the Hour and Goat Club brought in $276,569. The final total for the 2021 Rotary auction was $397,832.

It’s the final night of the 71st WHOP Rotary Radio Auction and you have several ways to help cap off a successful week.
137 items sold Friday night for just over $13,000, the diner and sweet shop again had its best night of the week and Hour and Goat Club donations totaled just under $36,000. The auction has raised $154,671 through five nights.
Auction Chair Cody Noffsinger says he’s hoping for an influx of cash donations to the Hour and Goat Clubs on the final day.
