People in West Palm Beach are showing solidarity for the people of Cuba by praying for the country’s citizens and celebrating Cuban culture.Cuba Connect is a new, weekly event at Jose Marti Park in Downtown West Palm Beach. Organizers said they want to not only pray for a free Cuba, but get together and share stories about what it means to be Cuban. On Sunday, the event featured food donated by Havana Restaurant and people enjoyed playing games of dominoes. We want to get people together and share happy stories and share stories of what Cuba could be, said Bobby Gonzalez, a co-organizer of Cuba Connect.
