It may be spring but it feels a little like fall right now with San Antonio’s performing arts companies starting to emerge from their pandemic pauses. The weekend’s offerings include chamber music, a pop revue and flamenco.

Desi Banks: An actor, comedian and former college football player from Atlanta, Banks has built a big following on social media with funny videos about little daily dramas, from being flush with stimulus money to being pursued by his homeboy’s girl. He stars in the upcoming horror comedy “Haunted Trail.” ....

The McNay s 25th Anniversary Print Fair will be held online this year.
The McNay Art Museum’s Print Fair has long been a great way for locals to get their hands on unique works of art.
For its 25th anniversary, the free fair has converted to a fully virtual experience this year.
This ain’t just some lazy online storefront, though the McNay has collaborated with print dealers nationwide to curate a cornucopia of artworks for sale, all branching from a central hub on the museum’s website that acts as a roadmap for shoppers to navigate the thousands of prints, photos, drawings and watercolors availab ....

25th annual McNay Print Fair goes virtual

.- The McNay Art Museum’s highly-anticipated annual Print Fair is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an all-new virtual format. This year’s event will be held May 1–2 on the McNay’s website at www.mcnayart.org/print-fair. Access is free and open to the public.
“We’ve pivoted to a virtual Print Fair experience out of an abundance of caution and care for our patrons, staff, and dealers from around the country,” said Lyle W. Williams, McNay Curator of Prints and Drawings, Curator of Modern Art. “This year’s event may be the biggest one yet because we really are opening the experience up to the world, while still bringing those conversations with dealers and artists to attendees through a video format.” ....

An exhibition featuring the work of 11 artists is on display through Friday, Feb. 19, at the Foster Art Gallery at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.
The
Red Press Collaborative: Decennial Celebration features prints created through Youngstown State University’s (YSU) printmaking program’s initiative, the Red Press Collaborative.  
Exhibiting professional artists, representing 10 years of YSU’s program, include Janet Ballweg, Michael Barnes, Charles Beneke, Nicole Hand, Matthew Hopson-Walker, Anita Jung, Sarah Marshall, Sean P. Morrissey, Kristin Powers-Nowlin, Humberto Saenz and Susanne Slavick. Each artist collaborated with printmaking students to create a print to be sold through the program. ....
