HUBBARD A moment of silence took place and special memories were shared by city council members to remember the lengthy and dedicated service to Hubbard by Dan Livingston, who died last weekend at age 65.
Mayor Ben Kyle said Livingston’s knowledge of Hubbard and his service to the community were unparalleled.
“He was a friend to everyone and always had a memorable story to tell. He will be remembered as a true Hubbard Eagle: always having the best interest of Hubbard residents in mind,” Kyle said.
Livingston, who served as the city’s service director since February 2012, started his career of service in the late 1970s working at Hubbard Union Cemetery, retiring as sexton / clerk after 33 years. ....
