Photo courtesy of “Jeopardy!” A woman from Augusta won big Wednesday evening on the popular television game show “Jeopardy!” Jamie Carter Logan, a writer consultant who graduated from Deering High School in Portland in 2005, defeated reigning champion Hannah Howard, an editor from New York City, and Elliott Goodman, a history/Latin teacher from Culver City, California, by correctly answering the Final Jeopardy question: “The title of this huge hit 1977 album was the idea of the bass player, who stressed it should be spelled the British way.” ....

Goodman answered the question correctly, but only wagered $928, which left him with a total of $17,728. Howard was unable to answer the question. Logan, who went into the final round with $16,200, wagered $16,000. ....
