Glasgow Sheriff Court: Craig Duffy pleads guilty to Barlinnie assault

A PRISONER slit the face of a fellow inmate with a homemade blade.
Craig Duffy, 27, pounced on William Cairns in Glasgow’s Barlinnie Prison on New Year’s Eve 2019.
The thug struck after Cairns entered his cell while doing his job collecting rubbish.
Duffy later tried to conceal the blade, which had a handle made of milk labels, in the bin.
He pleaded guilty on Tuesday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the assault to Cairns’ injury.
The court heard Cairns was allowed into the cell by a prison officer.
Prosecutor Hannah Sweeney said: “The accused exited his cell and slashed Cairns with a makeshift bladed weapon ....

Glasgow Sheriff Court: Stephen Keating faces jail over domestic assault

Stephen Keating turned on the woman at her flat in Glasgow’s Pollokshields on October 15 2020.
Keating punched the terrified victim on the face and bit her on the arm.
The brute then tried to avoid police by jumping out the living room window.
Keating pleaded guilty on Tuesday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the assault and the non-harassment order breaches.
The court heard Keating was subjected to a criminal and civil order not to contact the woman who he was a relationship with for six years.
He attended the victim’s home in the South Side area at 6am and was initially allowed entry. ....

Glasgow Sheriff Court: Andrew and Adam Clark plead guilty to indecent images of kids

A FATHER and son snared with a stash of indecent images of children in their home could face jail.
Andrew Clark, 66, and Adam Clark, 34, had their property in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, raided in March 2019.
Various devices seized contained 1580 images. Andrew had 732 images of boys and girls aged four to 16. Adam had 848 images of kids as young as seven to 16.
Andrew, a widower, also wrote erotic fiction about kids and used photo editing software to create sick images.
The pair pleaded guilty separately on Tuesday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to taking or permitting to be taken indecent photographs of children.
Andrew further admitted possession of indecent photographs and distributing the images. ....
