urvivor. Let alone just to be outside for the entire stretch, away from modern life’s various creature comforts and amenities. The lack of food, sleep depravation, physically demanding challenges, and emotional separation from loved ones back home is a phenomenally tough ask. And so, too, is the lack of any formal bathroom.
Time and time again, whenever a new season of
Australian Survivor arrives, the burning question is asked by fans: Just how in the blue blazing hell do these people go the dang loo?
With no bathrooms in sight and nothing but untamed and deserted landscapes around them, the question of how these people drop a stinky deuce becomes morbidly fascinating.

While this past year has been a historic one for social justice and equity work, there are individuals who long before this year have dedicated themselves to creating equity, diversity and inclusion. And some of the most impactful and meaningful work in this realm is being initiated by students, including Eagle Valley High School senior Zaira Najera.
Najera was recently recognized for her work forming new programs and organizations that inspired positive and equitable engagement within the community. Last month, she was awarded the Princeton Prize in Race Relations
, which recognizes 28 high school students each year for their efforts to advance racial equity and understanding in their schools and their communities. As part of the prize, Najera will receive $1,000 and will participate in a virtual symposium with other awardees later this year.

Jeff Probst following the recent death of the fan-fave castaway from “Millennials vs. Gen X.” Sunday, age 50, passed away on April 18 after a year-long battle with esophageal and ovarian cancer. The “Survivor” host continued, “She radiated kindness and understanding. She seemed to understand better than most, that life is for living, so say yes to life whenever possible. My condolences go out to her family and friends.”

In the summer of 2019, Rose Fumoso left her home in southern France to intern at a Sonoma County winery, where the 21-year-old greeted customers in the tasting room and assessed the ripeness of grapes from the vineyard. As the season wound down in September, a friend invited Fumoso to a party celebrating the end of harvest.
There, she met the host: Dominic Foppoli, the mayor of Windsor.
A small town in the heart of Wine Country, Windsor has transformed in recent years from a sleepy neighbor of Healdsburg to a tourist destination. Much of that rise has been credited to Foppoli, a young winery owner whose political star and push for development have attracted outside investments in the community.
